The best way to care for your candle is to trim the wick(s) before you re-light it! Trimming the wick keeps the flame low and prevents “dancing”, which can lead to smoke or soot, and a longer-lasting candle. The wick just needs to be 1/4” long when you light it. How often should you trim? Before you re-light the candle… yes, every time!
